Improveourselves Concrete is a referral service, so there is no crew to meet. After you send a request, an independent local provider from our network reaches out. That provider is the one who would quote and carry out the work.

What the First Conversation Looks Like

Expect a short chat about your project. The provider may ask about the size of the area, the surface you have now, drainage, and what finish you want. Many will suggest a site visit before giving a written quote.

Have a few notes ready. Rough measurements and photos help a lot.

What to Ask a Provider

A budget-minded planner asks questions early. Try these:

• What is included in the quote, and what is not?
• How will the base be prepared and how thick will the slab be?
• How will water drain away from the house?
• What happens to old concrete that must be removed?
• What is the expected schedule and payment plan?
• Can I see the quote in writing?

If you are weighing a patio finish, ask how a stamped design compares in price and upkeep with a simple broom finish.

You Are in Control

A conversation is not a commitment. You can talk to several providers, ask for changes, and say no. Compare written quotes line by line, not just the bottom number. A lower figure may leave out prep that another quote includes.
